Siena Damiani

Siena Damiani

For years, my fixation with fish has driven my work.
Fish as culinary object and alien body;
The simmer, the viscera, the process, the stare.
Fish are finally losing their hold on me, and I find myself in the quiet free-space between obsessions.
It has always been this way? As much as anyone, I wonder at the things that take hold of me.
