The 2024-25 Visiting Artist Lecture Series featuring CAMP, BLANK FORMS, THINK TANGER, and CFGNY is presented by the Department of Art, with series support from the Humanities Research Center and Department of Art History, and lecture support from the Center for African and African American Studies.

Spring 2024 Visiting Artist Lecture Series featuring Jude Chehab, Kameelah Janan Rasheed, Ani Liu, and Chitra Ganesh. The series is presented by the Department of Art with support from the Department of Art History, Chao Center for Asian Studies, Moody Center for the Arts, and in collaboration with the Center for African and African American Studies.

2023 Spring Visiting Artist Lecture Series with Malcolm Peacock, Devin T. Mays, and Barbara McCullough. The series is co-sponsored by the Center for African and African American Studies (CAAAS) and the Department of Art, with support from the Center for Engaged Research and Collaborative Learning (CERCL).

Rice University Spring 2022 Visiting Artist Lecture Series features artists Silas Munro, francine j. harris, Leslie Hewitt, and Puppies Puppies.
