The 2025-26 visiting Artist Lecture Series featuring Shannon Ebner, Laura Owens, Will Rawls, and Carissa Rodriguez is presented by the Department of Art at Rice University, with series support from the Department of Art History and the MFAH Glassell School of Art Core Program, with lecture support from the Rice School of Architecture, the Department of English and Creative Writing, and the Center for the Study of Women, Gender, and Sexuality.

The 2024-25 Visiting Artist Lecture Series featuring CAMP, BLANK FORMS, THINK TANGER, and CFGNY is presented by the Department of Art, with series support from the Humanities Research Center and Department of Art History, and lecture support from the Center for African and African American Studies.

Spring 2024 Visiting Artist Lecture Series featuring Jude Chehab, Kameelah Janan Rasheed, Ani Liu, and Chitra Ganesh. The series is presented by the Department of Art with support from the Department of Art History, Chao Center for Asian Studies, Moody Center for the Arts, and in collaboration with the Center for African and African American Studies.

2023 Spring Visiting Artist Lecture Series with Malcolm Peacock, Devin T. Mays, and Barbara McCullough.
