New Rice Public Art by artist and Professor Emeritus Karin Broker

On view through summer 2021

Rice Public Art piece by artist and Professor Emeritus Karin Broker

A new display of Rice Public Art features work by artist and VADA Professor Emeritus of Printmaking and Drawing, Karin Broker. The image is a vinyl print of a scanned large-scale drawing on Formica panels with Conte Crayon, with the thinly lined table and chairs specific to the tent design.

This lavishly bulbous bouquet is displayed on one of four PCF (Provisional Campus Facilities) tents located in the grassy lot on the corner of Alumni Drive and College Way, and will be on view through fall 2021.

The installation is made possibly by Rice University's Arts Initiative Fund and the Moody Center for the Arts.
