As an artist working primarily in collage, I find myself
drawn to found objects and prefer to work with materials
readily available to me. Through my art, I aim to unravel
the intricate layers of heritage, history, and personal
identity, weaving them together to create visual narratives
that resonate with viewers on both personal and universal
levels.
My work serves as a reflection of the diverse and
multifaceted nature of my Iraqi culture, as well as the
beauty that I see in the outside world and the complex
relationships I am surrounded by. Ultimately, my art
serves as a visual dialogue, inviting viewers to engage
with questions of identity and belonging. I hope to
inspire others to explore their own stories, find
connections, and embrace diversity.
